Submission Guidelines:
Red Scab Distro is ALWAYS accepting zine submissions.
When sending your zine, PLEASE send the actual zine. I wont accept e-zines.
I'm open to just about any kind of zine to distribute. Examples of zines that I am interested in distributing include perzines (personal zines), comics, art zines, DIY guides, compilation zines, riot grrrl/feminist zines, gay/lesbian/bi/transgendered zines, certain kind of fanzines, zines on pop culture, etc.
I DO NOT accept zines that are racist, homophobic, heterophobic, boy/girl hate, size hate, etc. Most of the time I usually don't stock zines that are mostly band/music reviews, but their are exceptions to this rule.
If I decide not to accept your zine, I wont send it back. I will either donate it to a zine library or a zine grab bag.
when sending your zine for consideration include the following:
1.) your name
2.) the name of your zine
3.) size/weight
4.) a short description of your zine
5.) an e-mail address so I can contact you.
6.) the price of your zine
oh yeah, almost forgot, if you want my address, ask me for it at [email protected]. i currently dont have a P.O. box. I will be getting one eventually.
as far as commission goes, its 50/50.
when I do decide to accept your zine, I usually request at lease 6 issues for the distro. If your zine sells out, i'll ask for more :).
Even if you think that your zine might not fit some of the criteria that i'm looking for, go ahead and send it to me anyway. I'm pretty much opened to anything. Don't be shy when sending in your 'zine.
